(J-A) COALPORTERS
We
offer a "special edition" limited run of JECX J-A Coalporters.
These cars are repaints of used MCHX cars purchased by the Jeffrey Energy
Center power plant located near Topeka KS on the UP Marysville Sub. Several of
these repainted cars are mixed in every prototype "Jeffrey Energy
Center" train. This is a joint contract between UP and BN with lots of pool
power. The cars are plain aluminum with yellow ends and have the new JECX
reporting marks in a "Yellow box" covering the old reporting marks.
These cars have metal wheels and knuckle couplers.
This is a companion set to the LBF - JECX "Jeffrey Energy Center"

We
sell the LBF coal loads for $15.00 for a package of 12. These are probably the
best loads available, they have a true granular finish.
The "customized weights" are exclusive from Spring Creek. These weights sell for
$2.50 per package (with a special price of $1.25 per package if you buy a full
48 car set), each package contains two weights - enough for 1 car. They bring
the car to within 1/10th of an oz. of the NMRA standards. Our weight
replaces the flat sheet-metal weight sent by LBF.
These
weights fit in the ends of the cars under the false floor so they do not hide
the empty car bottom detail.
