I
have designed the "customized weights"
which are exclusive from Spring Creek
Model Trains. These weights sell for
$2.50 per package (with a special price of $1.25 per package if you buy a full
48 car set), each package contains two weights - enough for 1 car. They bring
the car to within 1/10th of an oz. of the NMRA standards. Our weight
replaces the flat sheet-metal weight sent by LBF.
One of the advantages of my weights is that they maintain a low center of
gravity. To install, use "Wathers" GOO or a 5 minute plastic compatible epoxy.
