  1. Dan Martin

Nice looking locomotive. Unfortunately has serious problems pulling anything over 8 to 10 cars on level track, with large radius turns. Works well as a yard switcher only.

  2. Kevin DeVos

I bought one of these units a couple months back and wasn’t sure what kind of quality level I would be getting into for the price. I and my friends were pretty surprised at the value put in these. Yes, a couple features were missing compared to their Genesis version but they’re minor and if I choose to add them later on, I have that option. The sound card offered great quality and again, we barely noticed a difference with the Genesis version. Like most modelers, we run units in consists and that’s where this one was put. I like to run units from the same manufacturer for ease of fine tuning and gearing ratios so I don’t have to worry about putting heavy wear and tear on the gear trains.
