50' Berwick Box Car

Prototype Information

Between 1972 and 1981 Berwick Forge & Fabricating built a large number of modern 50′ sliding door boxcars. These cars were sold to more than 35 railroads initially and to many second-hand owners in the years to come. They carried a number of colorful paint schemes and continue on daily service to this day.
