Fox Valley Models (N)

Fox Valley Models manufactured detailed HO and N scale model railroad equipment. Matt Gaudynski founded the company in 2007 in Des Plaines, Illinois. The brand earned recognition for its innovative N scale locomotives and high-quality rolling stock. ScaleTrains acquired the company in 2022.

The brand gained fame for its revolutionary N scale GE ES44 GEVO locomotive. This model featured road-name-specific details like custom cabs and headlight placements. They also produced popular freight cars, including the Trinity RD-4 coal hopper and B&O wagontop boxcars. Fox Valley Models offered a specialized line of fine-scale wheels and parts for both HO and N scales. Their products focused on modern prototypes and specific Midwestern railroad subjects.
