Between Fe-33 and -42 classes 2050 cars were manufactured up to 1969. The main feature the Fe-34 class carried was Lading Band Anchors and a mix of wooden and Nailable Steel Floors. All had the famous Super SHOCK CONTROL cushioned underframe. The design adherence to the Plate B clearance standard translated to unlimited service to all rail lines in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
