Description
Railroad Short Name: AESX
AESX “AE Staley Manufacturing Company Delivery 1963” leads off in a shipper-designed bright white and blue paint scheme with the classic Staley logo, including the words “Vegetable Oils.” The left side of the car includes the classic 1960s A.E. Staley Manufacturing Company stenciling, effectively advertising the company’s brand and product. Check out this model’s distinctive color separations: white carbody, blue underframe, and blue tank band. Additionally, you will see the reporting mark, road numbers, and NACC-standard serial number applied to the super-detailed underframe. These tank cars roll on Tangent 100-ton Barber S-2 trucks with 36’ wheels, separate truck brake beams and rotating Timken roller bearing caps.
