ABOUT: The original Sea Containers became part of GE SeaCo in 1998 as a joint venture with General Electric. There is a web of entities (and paint schemes) between the GE JV and the new SEACO, that can be covered when we release a GE SEACO container scheme. In December of 2011, HNA Group Company Limited (HNA) of China, and Bravia Capital (Bravia) of Hong Kong, announced the completion of the acquisition of GE SeaCo, which was the world’s fifth largest marine container leasing company, at that time. The company was rebranded as “SEACO”, as this scheme represents.
