Description
Railroad Short Name: C&O
Power your HO railroad’s flagship streamliners with these superb replicas of EMD’s famed E8 and E9 diesels. Introduced in 1948 with the new 567B prime mover, production continued until 1954 when the virtually identical E9 was introduced with the more powerful 567C prime mover. Powerful, reliable and economical, EMD E units handled premiere long-distance trains for decades, with many ending their long careers in commuter service and occasionally handling fast freight trains.
