Powerful lash-ups of matching yellow and gray A-B-A, A-B-B-A and A-B-B-B-A E9s led the train’s signature dome cars and luxurious Pullman sleepers, as well as comfortable coaches added during the winter months. These stunning WalthersProto replicas of Union Pacific’s signature E9 A and B diesels are the perfect power for this great train as well as other Domeliners. The models feature a number of 1960s-era details, many offered for the first time, and are available with ESU LokSound Select sound for DCC or DC operation, as well as Standard DC versions. Based on units upgraded in the mid-1960s and in service to early 1970s, other features include:
